The hospital was first established in 1871 and is an Academic Affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 1979, St. Luke's-Roosevelt was formed by a merger of St. Luke's Hospital and The Roosevelt Hospital. The Siemens AXIOM is a fully digital cardiac imaging system for diagnostic and interventional radiology use. It produces high quality images and only uses a small dose of radiation.

We can easily image and diagnose patients who are the most challenging to examine with conventional MR approaches.
