BREAST IMAGING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

We are proud to announce that Midtown Medical Pavilion  has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Only six facilities in New York City have received the honorary Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designation. By awarding facilities the status of Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes the breast imaging services at this center are fully accredited in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. Peer-review evaluations, conducted in each breast imaging modality by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field, have determined that this facility has achieved high practice standards in image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs. My name is J.R. Margarita and I were in your offices yesterday, Monday, for Margarita's ultrasound examination, and this note is to tell you about the wonderful experience we had with your receptionist, Ms. Gail Hardy.

Margarita does not speak English perfectly and Ms. Hardy walked her through the entire process, made her feel very comfortable, and totally prepared her for her exam. She was extremely compassionate and patient. She made a few phone calls, got some information that Margarita did not have with her, and in general made us both feel completely at ease.

This note is simply to say that you are so lucky and fortunate to have her employed with you. It's quite obvious that she truly loves her position.

In any company the first person you meet upon entering is the one who usually represents how the entire organization is run. Ms. Hardy represents you perfectly. We hope we do not need many ultrasound examinations in the future, but if we do, because of Ms. Hardy, we will be in your offices immediately. Please extend our thanks to her.
