Congratulations to the physicians of New York Radiology Partners for becoming one of largest practices in the Tristate area to have 100% support of both the Image Gently and Image Wisely Pledge. The recent tragedy in Japan has heightened public awareness of the importance of radiation safety. We, at New York Radiology Partners, have always held patient safety as one of our most important issues. Though we always considered radiation safety paramount in our practice, in May 2011, we joined a prestigious group of physicians who took an important pledge promising to limit radiation exposure to both our adult and pediatric patients while providing the highest level of care.

Central Park Women's Imaging Center and Midtown Medical Pavilion are designated Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence. We are proud to announce that the Central Park Women's Imaging Center and the Midtown Medical Pavilion Center have each been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Only six facilities in New York City have received the honorary Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designation.

The Dr. Oz Show show filmed at Central Park Women's Imaging Center. Women's health is a topic that we are passionate about. That is why the Central Park Women's Imaging Center recently opened its doors to The Dr. Oz Show and their film crew to film a segment on breast cancer and related information on mammography. The show is titled Ask Dr. Oz: Cancer Prevention Clinic, Dr. Oz takes viewers on a head-to-toe journey and reveals the most common, preventable cancers in our bodies. A panel of experts including brain cancer survivor, breast cancer survivor, and skin cancer survivor answer questions from audience members.
