The Siemens AXIOM is a fully digital cardiac imaging system for diagnostic and interventional radiology use. It produces high quality images and only uses a small dose of radiation.
The GE Advantx System allows for "live" x-ray images of a patient. During the procedure, x-rays pass through the body area being imaged, where they strike a fluorescent plate and are transmitted to a computer. The radiologist can then see the images on the computer screen in real-time.
A multi-slice scanner can acquire thinner slices for better image quality while keeping throughput at an optimal level. The speed of the system and fast acquisition time allow many studies to be performed in a single breath-hold, reducing motion artifact and optimizing profitability. One of the major benefits of multi-slice scanners is the ability to reconstruct multiple slice thicknesses from one data acquisition.
The GE Millenium System provides a full range of nuclear imaging studies, clinical flexibility, and diagnostic confidence.
“Four technology cornerstones are the foundation of the Acuson™ Sequoia® platform's unrivaled clinical performance. They work together to deliver a new level of diagnostic confidence in echocardiography and radiology. They streamline workflow and improve productivity to enable new clinical capabilities that expand the scope of ultrasound imaging. To understand them is to appreciate just how far the practice of ultrasound imaging has advanced through the Acuson™ Sequoia® platform.” [Copyright © 2011 Universal Diagnostic Solutions]
